Music & Vocal Production
& Performance Skills
Vocal & Recording Production
Utilizing the excellent recording studios and engineers in in different cities, I have offered full recording production planning and completion services, vocal production, songwriting guidance, conceptual and artistic oversight and career guidance.
Unlike like singing or performing live, the recording process requires unique skills that like most things, can only be acquired by actually doing them! It is a fascinating and fun process that allows musicians and singers to fine-tune their vocal skills and expression like no other experience can. I love this powerful transformational process and especially what it produces in the advancement of artistic development, strength, skill and confidence in my students and clients.
Performance Skills/Direction
I have also enjoyed working closely with students and artists to create and direct performance projects and events for various musical and theatrical events, recitals, band projects and concerts. This is another area where the only real experience and knowledge one can achieve is from having and knowing the real experience!
Many people think that we performers just somehow rely on our inborn talent and artistic instincts to achieve a high quality performance. But the truth is, just like any other craft or set of skills we possess in the world, the performer must build a strong conceptual and technical basis in order to create this seemingly effortless illusion.
It takes a lot of hard work to make it look easy!
