This was the first charting single for my first NY band, Capital Recording artists Desmond Child and Rouge. This was among the first music videos ever produced in NY. With its cool, quirky bass line and beautiful vocal and instrumental arrangements, DC&R was leading the trends by merging R&B and Rock before the many others that followed.

With arranger, Charlie Calello the top studio musicians in NY at the time, including Paul Shaffer on keys, Allen Schwartzberg on drums, Neil Jason on bass, Elliot Randall on the guitar solo and Jimmy Maelen, on percussion, we achieved Billboard Top 50 status.

We toured the country, while the extended club version of “Our Love is Insane” played in all the East Coast dance clubs for at least twenty years. We recorded a second, more rock-leaning record the same year titled Runners in the NIght.
